1. Bookmarklet: Remember the WordPress Bookmarklet? It is coming back to WordPress in version 2.6 with a new and improved functionality.
2. Post Word Count: This feature is available for WordPress.com users and has good chances of making into WordPress 2.6 too.
3. Shift-Click Checkbox Selection: In WordPress 2.6 you will be able to select a range of posts, comments etc using the Shift-Click hack.
4. Post Revisions: Wiki-style revisions management for blog posts.
5. Google Gears Support: Probably the most interesting feature yet is the Google Gears Support for WordPress 2.6. This will enable users to write posts even in offline mode.
6. Identicons: Choose gravatars for those who don’t have one.
